You can race against up to seven other players, whether they’re registered as in-game friends, nearby, or scattered around the world.
Multiplayer races can be customized with a variety of rules, such as individual or team races, kart speed, and number of item slots. You can play however you want!

Mario and friends go global in this new Mario Kart as they race around courses inspired by real-world cities in addition to classic Mario Kart courses! These destinations will be featured in tours that rotate every two weeks! In addition to courses based on iconic locales, some of your favorite Mario Kart characters will get variations that incorporate the local flavor of cities featured in the game!

In certain races, 1st place isn’t always the goal. With names like “Vs. Mega Bowser” and “Goomba Takedown,” these bonus challenge courses demand a different approach to gameplay and strategy!

This is still a game I like to play every now and then but keep in mind I am addicted to all Mario Kart games. I still regularly play Mario Kart Wii and 8 deluxe. This game is fun for when I want a much more simplistic and quick dose of Mario Kart. Unfortunately I have been getting an error for the past two days. Can't remember the error code but it seems to happen after trying to load something or at the end of a match resulting in me not getting credit for the race. Don't want to reinstall

This game has come a long way since the last time I played it. It's easier to get characters you want and RNG isn't as necessary in the entire game. Yes, RNG is still present as it's Mario Kart, but less relevant when unlocking courses, characters, karts, and gliders. Amazing improvements.

Subscription is reasonable, but 1 star until you fix rubies. They're too expensive, take it up by a factor of 10, at least. Why: A kart purchase is $3.99, but if you want to get one (or upgrade) with rubies, it's ~$40 (100 rubies) every time. What?! Makes no sense. Losing sales. Otherwise, it's a great game for your phone. It's so fun, but it's a little easy at times, could be a little more challenging. An instant replay for the finish would be better than this 360 camera.
